I was invited to participate in “The Batsheva de Rothschild Workshop: Live foraminifera as a new model system for monitoring and reconstructing marine environments”, which took place from 9th to 16th September 2016 in Eilat, Israel. I was requested to create several species of foraminifera to present at a stand during the conference. Additionally, I had the opportunity to explore the territory with the researchers, collect forams from the Red Sea, and observe them under the microscope. It was an amazing experience. I am grateful to the Paul Brönnimann foundation for sponsoring my travel and stay, and to Dr. Sigal Abramovich, the organizer, for her invitation.
